Premium pine decking is the most common decking used in New Zealand, being one of the cheapest options available. Premium pine comes in 90mm & 140mm wide boards. Pine decking comes in 21mm & 32mm thickness.

Pines natural finish is a lightish yellow but can be stained a variety of couloirs.

Kwila is a medium priced decking timber with great durability. kwila comes in 90mm & 140mm sized boards. the timber will Leach and release its natural oils hence why it is best to keep off areas that may get stained. The timber will grey off if kept unstained hence why it is best to stain or oil the timber 3-6 months after installation & every year after to kept in top condition.

Composite is a durable maintenance free decking material, it is more costly option then Pine and other hardwood decking timber but has a much longer lifespan, with less maintenance it is a great care free material.
